Client’s Business Challenge 

Traditional Training and Development (T&D) approaches for risk and project managers typically involve lectures, workshops, and on-the-job training. These approaches can be dry, time-consuming, and expensive.

Solution by INFINITY-UP

Developed a gamified learning app and used game elements such as points, badges, and leaderboards to motivate and engage learners.

Impact for Client

The gamified learning app is assisting over 17000 current employees with training and development. It has the potential to train unlimited future human resources. Gamified T&D approaches proved to be more effective, motivating, and more engaging for Risk and Project Managers.

Client’s Brief History and Business Challenge 

STC(Saudi Telecom) is an enabler of telecommunications services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. STC is among the operators in the Middle East. The company offers landline and fixed infrastructure, mobile, and data services. With over 1,7000 headcount, the group provides a comprehensive suite of services including digital infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), digital payments, digital media, and digital entertainment.

STC was facing issues in traditional T&D such as Lack of engagement, Time commitment, Cost, and Lack of feedback. Lead form STC contacted INFINITY-UP and shared their business challenge. After a complete understanding of the challenge, INFINITY-UP provided several options from extensive experience in delivering gamified solutions to corporate cultures.

The Solution Proposed by INFINITY-UP

INFINITY-UP, provided options for engaging mini-games for all platforms such as Android, iOS, and Web developed in Unity or Playcanvas. The proposed dimensions were 2D or 3D for their business challenge throughout the Game Flow. T&D was meant to be addressed with better engagement and feedback from employees.  The gamified learning games involved scenario-based problems and possible run-time solutions. For that game components were meant to be developed such as engaging UI and leaderboard. 

INFINITY-UP submitted a proposal that contained all the team requirements, processes, cost, time estimations, and milestone management. The project was the next addition to our strong portfolio of Game Development and Gamification for the Middle East region.

How did INFINITY-UP serve?

INFINITY-UP kickstarted the project by finalizing content with STC and designing the game with localization support in Arabic and English while understanding demographics these mini-learning games were designed with the themes of MENA and Arab countries in mind.

Appealing and User-Friendly Design

After finalizing the content with STC, The Design Team of INFINITY-UP showcased their top-notch expertise by designing demographically aligned, Middle Eastern theme-based Mini games design. The primary focus was to make it more appealing, engaging, and user-friendly with localization. These mini-games were targeting all screen dimensions for platforms like iOS, Android, and the Web. So the design team was up to the mark in designing responsive and visually appealing Designs and implementing UI elements such as menus, buttons, forms, and animations.

Premium Game Development

After the Creative Designing Team, it was the job of our Talented Development to implement all the designs. They did it by using their extensive knowledge and experience in HTML5 and Web browsing games. They did it marvelously by developing an engaging and motivating game by implementing all the required features for the training and development of the employees.

Impact on the business challenge of STC

These Web browsing mini-games developed in HTML5 for all the screens from mobile, tab and PC helped STC address the business challenge of training and development for over 17,000 current and infinite future employees. These engaging games served STC in motivating the training of existing as well as coming employees without time constraints, limited cost, and above all greater feedback.
